Sad news to share, The B-17 Liberty Belle Crashed yesterday outside Chicago Ill. This is a huge loss as there are only a handful of airworthy B-17's left. This is sad news for me especially as last summer I was able to take a flight on this Aircraft.

ReplyDeleteThe engine noise in your video is surprisingly quiet. I remember seeing a Lancaster at a Biggin Hill airshow a few years ago and it was very noisy, would have thought the B17 would be the same especially from inside.
The video may be misleading, it is very noisy, you have to shout to be heard over the engines.
